Orient Name offers a free preview and a single paid unlock: $9.90, one payment, one birth date — no subscription, nothing renews. You get the scored names, the full birth chart, a printable poster, a PDF report and a chart data file in Markdown (so you can keep it, or hand it to your own AI), all emailed to the address you verified. Bought before? Your second birth date is half price — $4.95. Payments are processed securely by Waffo.
What one unlock includes
One payment of $9.90 opens one birth date — every hour of it — and delivers everything below, once. No subscription, no renewals.
| What you receive | What it is |
|---|---|
| 📜 12+ scored names | Every candidate scored on five dimensions — meaning 30 / phonetics 25 / naturalness 20 / combination 15 / strokes 10 (100 in total) — with the reason for every deduction shown. Chart fit is reported separately on its own 0–100 scale and is not part of that total. Not a black box. |
| ☯ Full birth chart | Four Pillars, day master, useful element and a plain-language reading of what your chart favours, computed from true solar time for your birth place. |
| 🈶 Character by character | What each character means, its element, its stroke count, and where the meaning comes from (classical sources are cited when there are any). |
| 🖼 Poster (1080×1350) | A share-ready poster with the name in Chinese calligraphy, the pinyin, the meaning and a QR code back to your name page. Yours to print, post or send to family. |
| 📄 Report (PDF) | A multi-page report: cover, chart, the full candidate table and a detail page for each of the top three names. Print it or keep it. |
| 📦 Chart data file (Markdown) | The full chart as a plain Markdown file — four pillars, hidden stems, ten gods, luck pillars, annual pillars and the structured JSON — so you can read it, archive it, or hand it to your own AI assistant. |
| ✉️ All three files, in your inbox | The poster, the PDF and the chart data file are emailed to the address you verified, at the moment the unlock completes. You do not have to remember to download anything. |
| 🤖 20 AI explanations | Ask about any name on your chart in English, Chinese or Arabic — 20 included per unlocked birth date, then 1 point each. |
| 🔁 Unlimited retries | Change the hour, regenerate as often as you like, compare names side by side. One unlock covers the whole birth date, all hours. |

Price
| What you buy | Price | |
|---|---|---|
| 🔓 One birth date — names, chart, PDF report, poster, chart data file | $9.90 | Buy → |
| 🔁 Your second birth date (returning customer, 50% off) | $4.95 | Buy → |
The returning price is checked against your account: it applies only if that email has already bought an unlock. Pack discounts are no longer offered — one date at a time is cheaper for almost everyone.
Buying is email-verified but password-free: we send a 6-digit code, then open the secure Waffo checkout. Your credits appear in your account the moment payment completes.
One "unlock credit" unlocks ONE birth date at one birth location. All hours of that day are covered, plus 11:00 PM of the previous day and 1:00 AM of the next day (to cover the 子时 / Zi-hour day boundary). Unlimited tries — change the hour, regenerate as many times as you like, each run re-recommends names with full nameology scores.
Two separate balances
| Balance | What it is | How it is spent |
|---|---|---|
| Unlock credits | Bought in packs. Each one opens one birth date. | Spent only when you unlock a birth date. Never spent on anything else. |
| Points | Included with every pack. | Extra AI name explanations beyond the 20 free ones included with each unlocked birth date (1 point each). |
Points are credited immediately after payment and are usable right away. Points and unlock credits have no cash value, cannot be transferred to another account, and cannot be withdrawn.
Refunds
- Unlock credits you have not yet spent can be refunded. Birth dates you have already unlocked cannot be refunded — the service has been delivered.
- Your refund is priced on the discount tier you keep. Example: you bought one birth date for $9.90 and the report/poster have not been generated yet → your refund is $9.90. Once the files have been emailed, that date counts as delivered and is not refundable.
- Points granted with the refunded credits are removed at the same time (up to the balance remaining in your account).
- Refunds are processed through Waffo to your original payment method. Submit a request from your account page and we will confirm by email.
Payment & Delivery
- Payment is processed by Waffo; we do not store your card details.
- Unlock credits and points are credited instantly after payment (via payment webhook). Reopen your account panel to see the balance.
- Your poster and report are delivered for you. The moment a birth date unlocks, we generate the 1080×1350 poster and the multi-page PDF from that same birth data and email both files to your verified address, and they stay downloadable from the unlock screen. If an email ever fails, the files remain on the site — you are not dependent on the email.
- A small welcome gift: new accounts get 2 extra points on their first unlock — enough to ask about any name you are considering.
- If delivery fails because of our service error, we refund in full (see Terms of Service).
